Changes to the MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies programme for 2020-21

Due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and government guidance, we have had to make some changes to the MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies 2020-21 programme in order to mitigate against risks to health and to give students the best possible academic experience in the circumstances. We will continue to monitor and respond to the changing public health situation. The changes are as follows:

Whilst one-to -one supervision may be possible at the discretion of both academics and individual students, all Theory, Controversy and Methodology Lectures and Seminars, Gender and Methods Lectures and Seminars, Multi-disciplinary Text Seminars and Multi-disciplinary Gender Research Seminars will be delivered online in the Michaelmas term. We will ensure that students who are unable to travel to the UK in time for the start of term are able to access online seminars. We await advice on the possibility of moving back to face-to-face group teaching in Lent term subject to social distancing restrictions.
