UCCGS PhD Student Ayanda Mhlongo named Future Africa Fellow

27 June 2022

Congratulations to UCCGS PhD in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies student Ayanda Mhlongo, who has been named a Future Africa Fellow. This is an honour aimed at developing public sector leaders in Africa.

Ayanda has also received a 2022 Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans Award. She is researching intergenerational historical trauma through the lens of former Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK) black South African women.
